TetraMouse TM05 Features

Dual Joysticks - The right joystick controls the mouse pointer position. The left joystick performs left, right and middle button clicks, left and right click and hold (drag and drop) functions, and pointer speed selection. The left and right joysticks also perform various programming functions for setting, storing and recalling user-defined speed settings. For complete details please see the online Manual.

Knob Options - Several optional knobs are available including cup-shaped knobs for tongue operation by people with no head movement. Knobs are easily changed - they simply screw onto the joystick shafts. Please see the online Store page for details.

Indicators - The four indicator lights show the state of the TetraMouse speed settings. The four speed channels are each programmable to one of 16 speeds. Up to four speed configurations may be programmed, saved, and recalled by the user. Please see the programming details in the Manual.

Mounting - The 1/4"-20 male threaded stud provides a means of mounting using one of the available mounting options or a user-provided mounting system. The mounting stud provides about 0.4" of usable thread protruding from the center of the back of the TetraMouse. The 1/4"-20 stud size is a common size for camera and professional lighting system mounting systems. When ordered without a mounting system, the TetraMouse is supplied with a wing nut and lock washer which may be used to mount to a plate up to 1/4" thick having a 1/4" hole to accept the mounting stud.

More Independence - The TetraMouse requires no attachments or targets to the user. No sip and puff switches means no spit filters need to be continually purchased or cleaned and changed.

USB Cable and optional PS/2 Adapter - The built-in USB cable is standard and makes connectivity easy. Simple PS/2 adapter option available. The TetraMouse works on any computer using either a USB port or a PS/2 mouse port. The TetraMouse can be used along with any number or type of mice connected to the same computer.

Transferable Warranty and Support - The TetraMouse 3-year warranty and forever customer support are transferable. If the TetraMouse is sold or given to another person the warranty and support follow the unit regardless of who the owner is. See full details on the Support page.

Size - The TetraMouse TM05 case is 4" wide, 2" high and 1.2" deep. The joysticks with knobs protrude approximately 1.25" to 2.2" from the front panel, depending on the type of knobs installed.

Positive Control - The TetraMouse does what you want it to do. Unlike head, face or eye tracking camera systems, the TetraMouse's pointer does not drift on the screen and you only click when you want to click. With head tracking camera systems, the pointer moves whenever you move your head. You can't look away without moving your pointer. With some systems you can't even blink without accidently clicking your mouse.

Scrolling - The TetraMouse has a "middle" mouse button function (push down on the left joystick). The middle button function changes your mouse pointer to a scroll cursor when you are on browser pages or on most pages that have scrollbars on the sides or bottom of the window. When the scroll cursor is visible you can scroll and control the scrolling speed by moving the pointer with the right joystick. The middle button (or down on the TetraMouse left joystick) is also equivalent to clicking on a clickable scroll wheel on most scrollwheel mice. A left click stops the scrolling action and restores the normal pointer.
