TetraMouse models offer more built-in features, best warranty, and the lowest price of all mouth-operated mice.

The two TetraMouse models, TMXS and the new TMXA2, consist of dual joysticks that may be operated using the lips, chin, tongue, fingers or toes. The joystick on the right controls the mouse pointer movement and is also used to change settings when in program mode, while the left joystick provides up to 8 buttons on Mac computers (left, right, middle and mouse buttons 4 through 8), or 5 buttons on Windows machines (left, right, middle and mouse buttons 4 and 5), as well as left, right and middle button click and hold (drag and drop) functions, scrolling and auto-repeat scrolling, and user controlled programmable settings.

The TetraMouse TMXS and TMXA2 models are standard USB mice, which means they will work on any computer, AAC device, security system, or other device capable of supporting a USB mouse input. TetraMouse models use the mouse driver already in the computer or device, so no software installation is required. TetraClick (TMTC)

Bring your own switches to build a custom switch-operated USB dual-mode (3-button mouse/5-button and scroll 'clicker').
Uses switches having industry-standard 1/8" (3.5mm) size mono plugs.

The TetraClick is a stand-alone USB mouse and mouse clicker, however, it may be used to supplement the TetraMouse or any other mouse system by providing a different means of clicking or moving the pointer using external switches.

Knob Options for Current TetraMouse Models

TetraMouse models come with a set of Standard Flanged Round Knobs installed. Get extra knobs in various styles for multiple users, or to have spares.

These non-toxic TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) knobs feel like rubber. The flange at the base of the knobs help keep moisture from the breath from entering the holes for the joystick shafts, and because they push on and pull off, they are easy to change and they never come loose, unlike the older screw-on knobs that were difficult to tighten.

Standard Flanged Round Knobs (TMRKF)

These extra knobs are the same as the standard knobs that come installed on the TetraMouse TMXS and TMXA2. Made of non-toxic, rubber-like thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) plastic.
These knobs push onto the joystick shafts and stay put. They do not come loose like the older style hard plastic screw-on knobs.
This style knob also works on all older TetraMouse models TM01 through TM08 with threaded joystick shafts.
