TetraMouse models offer more built-in features and the lowest price of all mouth-operated mice.

The two TetraMouse models, TMXS and the new TMXA2, consist of dual joysticks that may be operated using the lips, chin, tongue, fingers or toes. The joystick on the right controls the mouse pointer movement and is also used to change settings when in program mode, while the left joystick provides up to 8 buttons on Mac computers (left, right, middle and mouse buttons 4 through 8), or 5 buttons on Windows machines (left, right, middle and mouse buttons 4 and 5), as well as left, right and middle button click and hold (drag and drop) functions, scrolling and auto-repeat scrolling, and user controlled programmable settings.

The TetraMouse TMXS and TMXA2 models are standard USB mice, which means they will work on any computer, AAC device, security system, or other device capable of supporting a USB mouse input. TetraMouse models use the mouse driver already in the computer or device, so no software installation is required. TetraClick (TMTC)

Bring your own switches to build a custom switch-operated USB dual-mode (3-button mouse/5-button and scroll 'clicker').
Uses switches having industry-standard 1/8" (3.5mm) size mono plugs.

The TetraClick is a stand-alone USB mouse and mouse clicker, however, it may be used to suppliment the TetraMouse or any other mouse system by providing a different means of clicking or moving the pointer using external switches.

TetraStick Uno USB Joystick (Model TSU)

USB Gaming Joystick

The TetraStick Uno may be sufficient for simple games, but is not intended to be a complete gaming solution. It is limited to the functions described in the Manual. Please read the TetraStick Uno Manual for details of operation.

The Tetrastick Uno has a single joystick that operates in several pointer movement and button press modes. Modes and settings are selected by pushing the joystick inward (very low force required). The external switch input jack on the Uno can be used with a single external switch, or the TetraStick Expander module that allows adding up to eight external switches. Comes with 6-foot right angle Micro USB to standard type A USB cable.

The TetraStick Uno works with PC, Mac, Linux, Xbox Adaptive Controller, and any other device that supports a USB gaming joystick. The TetraStick Uno firmware is updatable by the user. As users request new features or configurations, firmware updates will be made available.

TetraStick Twin USB Joysticks (Model TST)

Dual USB Gaming Joystick

The TetraStick Twin was designed to be used with the Xbox Adaptive Controller. It consists of two TetraStick Unos joined together, and each TetraStick has a USB port to connect them to the left and right USB ports on the Xbox Adaptive Controller. The functions of both joysticks are identical to the functions of the TetraStick Uno, therefore, the manual for the TetraSitck Uno applies to each joystick on the TetraStick Twin. Both joysticks have input jacks for adding an external switch or up to 8 switches using the TetraStick Expansion Module. Two Expansion Modules can be used with the TetraStick Twin, adding up to 16 external switches. Comes with two 6-foot right angle Micro USB to standard type A USB cables.

TetraStick Expansion Module (Model TSX)

The TetraStick Expansion Module provides the ability to add up to eight external switches to the TetraStick Uno as described in the TetraStick Uno Manual. Because the TetraStick Twin consists of two TetraStick Unos, up to two TetraStick Expansion Modules may be used with the TetraStick Twin. The Expansion Module has eight input jacks for adding industry standard momentary contact switches with 1/8 inch (3.5mm) mono plugs. The TetraStick Expansion Module comes with self-adhesive hook and loop mounting tape. Cable length is 3 feet.

TetraSwitch (Model TSW)

The TetraSwitch TSW is an external switch that can be used with the TetraStick or the TetraStick Expansion Module or the TetraClick. The TetraSwitch is a momentary pushbutton switch having a lever requiring a very low operating force (approx. 12 grams), and short activation travel (1/16 inch), and is compatible with devices that use industry standard switches having a 1/8 inch (3.5mm) mono plug. The TetraSwitch may be used to add a single external switch with the TetraStick Uno, the TetraClick or with the TetraStick Expansion Module to add up to eight external switches. Each TetraSwitch comes with self-adhesive hook and loop mounting tape. Holes are provided for other mounting options (screws, zip ties not included). Cable length is 3 feet.

Knob Options for Current TetraMouse Models

TetraMouse models come with a set of Standard Flanged Round Knobs installed. Get extra knobs in various styles for multiple users, or to have spares.

These non-toxic TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) knobs feel like rubber. The flange at the base of the knobs help keep moisture from the breath from entering the holes for the joystick shafts, and because they push on and pull off, they are easy to change and they never come loose, unlike the older screw-on knobs that were difficult to tighten.

Standard Flanged Round Knobs (TMRKF)

These extra knobs are the same as the standard knobs that come installed on the TetraMouse TMXS and TMXA2. Made of non-toxic, rubber-like thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) plastic.
These knobs push onto the joystick shafts and stay put. They do not come loose like the older style hard plastic screw-on knobs.
This style knob also works on all older TetraMouse models TM01 through TM08 with threaded joystick shafts.
These knobs have a flange at the base and cannot be installed on TetraMouse models TMXS and TMXA with the standard cowl-type front sold prior to February, 2018. See below for non-flanged push-on knobs that fit the older cowled housings.
